The 20th edition of Doclisboa – International Film Festival will take place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 16th October 2021. The Festival will take place in Lisbon, in its usual venues: Culturgest, Cinema São Jorge, Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema and Cinema Ideal.

Tickets are on sale from September 13th at Culturgest and Cinema Ideal, September 20th at Cinemateca Portuguesa and September 26th at Cinema São Jorge. The central ticket offices of Culturgest and Cinema São Jorge sell tickets for any session of Doclisboa. In the case of Cinemateca Portuguesa and Cinema Ideal only until the day before the session (on the same day, the ticket must be purchased at the respective box office). You can buy vouchers for 5, 10 or 20 tickets, which gives a discount on the value of each individual ticket. The Doclisboa voucher can be purchased at Culturgest or Cinema São Jorge and is valid for all sessions. The voucher can only be exchanged for tickets to Cinemateca Portuguesa and Cinema Ideal at the central ticket offices and until the day before the session. The voucher allows you to collect more than one ticket for each session, so you can buy vouchers with your friends and go together to the same session!

Besides rare exceptions, all the films in Doclisboa are subtitled in both English and Portuguese when they are not spoken in one of these languages. In that case, they will be either subtitled in English or Portuguese.
